Meet the team
Ashton Kemp - Owner/Operator
Country Bikes was founded by Ashton Kemp in 2010. Ashton began his career with Farmworx in Feilding where he completed his apprenticeship, qualified as a bike mechanic, and spent close to 10 years servicing all makes and models of motorbikes.
When he's not covered in grease, Ashton loves to go hunting and he and his wife like to get away camping in different locations around the country. They are also big live music fans and try to fit in at least a couple of big concerts each year.
Bridget Davidson - Administrator
Bridget joined the team in 2020, bringing with her over 20 years of office administration, accounts and payroll experience. As well as taking care of all the paperwork, Bridget manages parts and inventory and even helps out occasionally in the workshop.
Bridget is an avid gardener and loves spending time at the beach, but mostly finds herself running around after her teenage son in her spare time.
Ashton’s Mum - Cleaner
The key to an efficient workshop is keeping it clean and tidy. Ashton knows this isn’t his area of expertise and really appreciates the hard work his mum puts in to keep the workshop ship-shape.
Murph - General Dog’s Body
Ashton’s right-hand-dog when out on the job, Murph keeps clients entertained chasing frisbees and loves taking bikes for test drives after the boss is finished with them.
Country Bikes owner/operator, Ashton Kemp.
Country Bikes administrator, Bridget Davidson
